Employee Nomination Visa SC 186
The Employer Nomination Visa SC 186 lets individuals live and work in Australia on a visa that is sponsored by an employer.
It is a Permanent Residence Visa that requires a skilled overseas worker application and a nomination by an approved Australian employer. Applicants can be in Australia or outside the country during their application.
General Eligibility
- The applicant must be eligible for the occupations listed on the 186 Visa Occupations List.
- You must be nominated by an Australian employer.
- An IELTS or an equivalent score of 6 in each component.
- Should meet all health and character requirements.
- The employer can nominate the applicant only when they are unable to find a suitable Australian employee for the respective positions.
- If the applicant is in Australia, they must hold a Bridging Visa A, B or C.
Direct Entry Stream
This visa stream is applicable for skilled workers that have been nominated by an employer.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be nominated by an eligible Australian employer.
- Your occupation must be listed on the 186 Occupation List.
- Should have competent English
Duration
You can work and live in Australia permanently.
- Labour Agreement Stream
This visa stream lets skilled workers, nominated by an employer, work and live in Australia on a permanent basis. This stream is for workers who currently work or will work for an employer under a Labour Agreement.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be nominated by an eligible employer.
- The employer must be under a Labour Agreement.
- Temporary Residence Transition Stream
This visa stream is for skilled workers that have been nominated by an eligible employer letting them work and live in Australia permanently.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be nominated by an eligible employer.
- Must hold a 457, TSS or Bridging Visa A, B or C.
- Should have worked under the employer full-time for at least 3 years.
